At our school the first grades put on a very cute Bug Play. They are each dressed up like a certain bug and have speaking parts and some very fun songs. This year Ashlyn was part of this play. She is our 3rd first grader to do this, so we are beginning to have the whole thing memorized! The teachers draw names for the bugs so we were surprised to hear that Ashlyn was the Praying Mantis, which is what Emily and Kailey both were also!!
The Praying Mantis has a very cute part and put that with a very bright costume in the front and everybody notices them:) Ashlyn played the part well and was so cute to watch.
So glad that Casey has a phone that can take pictures. It is not a good time of year to lose your camera!
