Cute as a Bug

Emily's first grade class put on their Bug Play for the end of the year.  They do this same play each year and it is so cute!

  The kids get to pick their first 3 choices for which bugs they want to be.  Then they draw names and the kids get to pick their bug.  Well, Emily ended up as the Praying Mantis.  Not her first choice.  You know, those butterflies and lady bugs were the top picks.  But Emily was in the brightest costume and on the front row.  You couldn't miss her! And she had a wonderful part that she did awesome on. 

So, it all ended up OK.  (kailey was also the Praying Mantis when she was in first grade....I guess it is turning out to be a family tradition:)
