Kailey

Kailey is my incredibly calm natured child.  She is so easy going that I just have so much fun talking with her and teasing her.  As a 5th grader though she is growing up, I can see the changes happening this year with her and her friends;  it makes me excited for the future and sad for the past.

Kailey is still involved with Ballet and doing very well.  She has switched companies this year and is enjoying the change. She is in a class with her cousin Kylie and some other friends.  They now take for 1 1/2 hours 2 days a week.  She is a beautiful dancer; it has always been something that comes natural to her.  She recently tried out for a Christmas performance, but we haven't heard if she has made it or not.

Kailey is also doing Sonatina Competition with her piano.  She loves to do that and has done really well the last couple of years.

She is also really enjoying Softball lately.  Well, not so much now that it is cold outside, but this summer she was on a team and this fall she did a clinic that she really enjoyed.

Kailey is a goof ball, and loves to be with friends.  I never worry about her because she just seem to always make the right decisions.  Recently Casey got a new phone and we have let Kailey use his old one while at home.  So basically she can do anything on her phone that I can do  with my ipad.  But I usually have to remind her that she has it, that is can be used as a great tool, and yes, it is okay to play on it once in a while.  It is great to know she simply enjoys playing Words With Friends and her friends are her mom and Dad :)

UPDATE:  Kailey did make it!  She is one of the "Lord's a Leaping" in the 12 days of Christmas Ballet in December!
