It was time for the Annual Andrus Family camping trip. Tonya and Seth were in charge this year and we had a great time! They wanted to go to Island Park, but word got out about mosquito's being really bad and that's when our plans changed. So where do you go last minute? Lake Walcott in Rupert, Idaho!!!
That's right, we headed to Rupert, Casey's hometown. He was excited to be able to see his mom and teased that he was going to have her tuck him in every night. Well, that kind of ran true when Casey ended up sleeping at his mom's house with Emily because she was not feeling well. Aaaahhh, there is no place like home!
We were tenting it this year which was totally great! Casey had Emily and James at his mom's house, so it was just me with Ashlyn, Kailey and Lilli. Not so bad in our old grandpa tent:)

The campground was really nice for kids. Grass everywhere, paved bike/walking trails, a park, and Frisbee golf. They were always busy and fairly clean most of the time!
Casey cooked up some great grub that first night....yummm! We missed out on his cobbler though. He had to get Emily out a little early. But we'll just make him make some for us at home!
Kailey was excited when Atticus showed up with Casey. He is our dog that lives with Casey's parents. Great plan right! Kailey really likes him. And Tonya's kids were excited to see him too!
