Ashlyn

I should have posted this a long time ago....

 Ashlyn turned 8 years old on Feb. 23rd.  She was baptised a week later on March 2nd.

Ashlyn is such a great example to me in so many ways.  She is kind hearted to the core, a super good friend, loves to babysit younger cousins (and they all LOVE her), and she is always happy, giggly and fun to hang around.  Ashlyn has a natural smile that is so inviting and she shares it with everyone!

For her 8th birthday party we had to play on her favorite thing in the world....SUGAR!  Ashlyn has always had a strong liking to sweets and so we thought it would be fun to have a Candy Shop Party.

We were so impressed with our Cotton Candy!  Ash received a  cotton candy machine from Santa Clause this year and so we gave it a good run and wow! It worked great!   And people buy this stuff for like $4 at ball games...crazy!

We had so much fun with a Photo Booth at kailey's party that we did it again for Ashlyn.  Kids love to do this!  I do believe I sent the kids all home with way too much candy!!

The Birthday Princess!

Ashlyn's Baptism was really special.  We had to move the time of her baptism to later in the day, so instead of being baptised with the rest of the Stake, Ashlyn had her own special baptism.  We went to Pocatello in the morning to attend her cousins baptism, Bella. 

 

Then back to Idaho Falls for Ashlyn's. 

 

Kailey was asked by our Bishop to play the music at Ashlyn's Baptism and Emily  was asked to lead the music.  Also Lindee and Logan (Ash's cousins) were asked to give the talks. They are also a part of our ward.  My Dad was given a few minutes for remarks (Also Ashlyn's Stake President).  Her Dad baptised and confirmed her.  And after a count we came up with 40 kids that were present at her baptism.  What an amazing support group.  I am so proud of you Ash for your amazing decisions.  Keep it up girl!!
