Birthday Weekend

My little J-Man turned 2 years old this last weekend.

It is hard to believe he is two already, unless you are in  the room with him when he yells and throws his two-year-old tantrums!  He has totally dived in head first into his "terrible-twos."  And yet he still has the power to melt anyone with his smile =)

James has me wrapped around his finger and all of his sisters and his father, of course!  He LOVES trucks/tractors/cars, sound effects, his soft blankets, and piggyback rides from his sisters.

Some of his words right now include:

• Bye  (repeated a thousand times when his sisters leave for school)
• Baaaa (yes, like the sheep, when he wanted to watch "Shawn the Sheep")
• Gross (with his eyebrows furrowed when you change is diaper or when someone does a 'bodily function' noise.  When he makes a 'bodily function' noise, he just giggles and smiles real big!)
• Truck - vroom! (Whenever we see my dad's trucks either parked or moving along the interstate)
• Ashy (He will blame everything on Ashlyn, even when she is not in the room.)
• momma, momma, momma, momma, momma!!!!
• Drink, thank-you, please, luv ou, night!!!

My favorite things he does:

• runs up behind his sisters and gives them the biggest hugs!
• Repeats some of the cutest prayers
• Smiles a lot
• Can figure out how to do anything (like playing the wii) then he HAS TO do it himself.  This will come in handy someday! (Not playing the wii, but the figuring out thing)

We celebrated his birthday in Rupert with Casey's family.  Being the forgetful mom I am, I didn't bring my camera, so all his pictures had to be done with Casey's phone (Thanks to technology!!). 

This is Jame's birthday present which he played with for a full 45 minutes, peacefully.  He hung the tools in a row, knew how to use each one, and I learned that when he concentrates his tongue comes out!
